All carrying the Zylbernadel name
Few records survive prior to 1780.
From January 1st 1787, all Jews must have a Germanic surname, for the records, by decree of Emporer Josef of Austro-Hungary. All records must be kept in German.
In 1791, Catherine II of Russia set up the Pale of Permanent Settlement, which was an area of Western Poland, Lithuania and other parts of Europe, where Jews were allowed to reside. It included such areas as Lublin and Radom provinces. The Pale lasted until the first world war and Poland itself ceased to exist, during this period.
Napoleon creates Duchy of Warsaw in 1807. Napoleonic civil records, in Polish, from May 1807.
Russians create Kingdom of Poland in 1815
1825 is the last year that records were kept in Latin script.
From 1826, Polish civil records begin (although double records were being kept from 1808 to the end of 1825).
